Terms of service
Last updated: 15 August 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of www.nosmallprint.co.uk and any purchase you make through the website.
The website and business are operated by:
Mahruf Ahmed, a UK sole trader trading as No Small Print
2153 Stratford Road
Hockley Heath
Solihull
B94 6EA
United Kingdom
Email: enquiries@nosmallprint.co.uk
In these terms, “No Small Print”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mahruf Ahmed trading as No Small Print. “You” and “your” refer to the website visitor or customer.
By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our:
-
Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy;
-
Shipping Policy; and
-
Privacy Policy.
If any part of these terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, the mandatory consumer right will apply.
2. Using our website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
-
Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully;
-
Attempt to interfere with its operation or security;
-
Introduce malicious code;
-
Obtain unauthorised access to the website or connected systems;
-
Copy or exploit website content in breach of intellectual-property rights; or
-
Place an order using false, misleading or unauthorised information.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be responsible for the order.
3. Our products
No Small Print currently sells printed T-shirts and hoodies, including pre-designed and personalised products.
Products are produced individually after an order is placed. The fact that a product is printed after ordering does not, by itself, mean that it is legally personalised or bespoke.
A pre-designed product contains a standard No Small Print design and has not been customised using customer-supplied names, photographs, wording, dates, artwork or other individual specifications.
A personalised product is one produced to a customer’s individual specifications or incorporating customer-supplied content such as names, photographs, dates, messages, artwork or custom wording.
Selecting a standard size, garment colour or other ordinary option from a fixed list does not, by itself, make a product personalised.
4. Product information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, images, size information and prices are accurate.
Product images are illustrative. The appearance of colours can vary between screens because of display settings, brightness, colour profiles and device differences. Printing on fabric can also result in minor variations that fall within reasonable production tolerances.
These normal variations are not necessarily defects. This does not excuse a product that is materially different from its description, displays the wrong design or personalisation, or contains a substantial printing or manufacturing fault.
Garment measurements may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Customers should review the size guide and product information before ordering.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in the currency selected or otherwise shown on the website.
Applicable product charges and delivery costs will be shown before you complete checkout. Taxes, customs charges or import fees may apply to international orders as explained in our Shipping Policy.
Payment must be authorised through one of the payment methods available at checkout.
We may correct an obvious pricing or product-information error. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and give you the choice of proceeding on the corrected basis or receiving a refund.
6. Placing an order
When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products subject to these terms.
You are responsible for checking before payment:
-
The product and design;
-
The garment size and colour;
-
The quantity;
-
The delivery address;
-
Any customer-supplied wording, spelling or dates;
-
Any uploaded image or artwork; and
-
All other personalisation details.
You will receive an electronic confirmation after placing an order. A contract between you and No Small Print is formed when we accept the order by issuing the order confirmation, unless we notify you promptly that the order cannot be accepted.
We may decline or cancel an order where:
-
A product is unavailable;
-
Payment cannot be authorised;
-
We identify an obvious pricing or description error;
-
Delivery is unavailable to the supplied address;
-
Customer-supplied content breaches these terms;
-
We reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or an unauthorised transaction; or
-
We are legally prohibited from fulfilling the order.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled portion.
7. Production and order amendments
Production may begin shortly after an order is confirmed.
Contact enquiries@nosmallprint.co.uk immediately if you wish to cancel or amend an order. We will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee that a change or cancellation can be made once production has started.
For genuinely personalised products, cancellation or amendment after ordering is not guaranteed. If production has not begun, we may agree to cancel or amend the order.
For pre-designed products, our inability to stop production does not remove any statutory cancellation right that applies. You may be required to receive and return the product in accordance with our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy.
8. Personalised products and customer-supplied content
Where you submit wording, photographs, artwork or other content for personalisation, you confirm that:
-
The content is accurate and is the version you want produced;
-
You have permission to use and reproduce it;
-
It does not infringe another person’s copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights;
-
It is not unlawful, threatening, hateful, defamatory or otherwise prohibited; and
-
Its production and use by us for your order will not breach applicable law.
You retain ownership of customer-supplied content. You give us and our relevant service providers permission to use, reproduce, adapt and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to review, produce, fulfil and support your order.
We may reject content that we reasonably believe breaches these requirements. Where possible, we will contact you to request an alternative. If the order cannot lawfully or reasonably be produced, we may cancel and refund the affected product.
Customer-supplied spelling, wording, dates or artwork produced as confirmed are not production defects merely because the customer later wishes to change them.
This does not apply where the delivered product differs from the personalisation confirmed in the order.
9. Sizes, colours and customer selection errors
Please review the size guide and all product options carefully before ordering.
A product is not faulty merely because:
-
The customer selected the wrong standard size;
-
The customer selected the wrong garment colour;
-
The customer changed their preference after ordering;
-
Customer-supplied information contained a spelling or other error; or
-
The delivered item fits differently from the customer’s personal preference,
provided that the product supplied matches the confirmed order, description and stated sizing information within reasonable manufacturing tolerances.
Genuinely personalised products cannot normally be returned because of a customer selection or submission error.
For pre-designed products, an applicable statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may still apply. Where it does, the customer will normally be responsible for return postage.
We do not provide direct exchanges. Full details are contained in our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy.
10. Cancellation and change-of-mind rights
UK consumers normally have the right to cancel an online purchase of a pre-designed product by notifying us within 14 days after the day on which the product is received. After notifying us, the product must normally be returned within a further 14 days.
Genuinely personalised products are normally excluded from change-of-mind cancellation where applicable law permits that exception.
Customers outside the UK may have different or additional rights under mandatory local consumer law.
Cancellation procedures, return conditions, return costs, refund timing and the model cancellation form are set out in our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy:
www.nosmallprint.co.uk/policies/refund-policy
Nothing in these terms removes a cancellation right that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Faulty, damaged, incomplete or incorrect products
Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, subject to the mandatory law applicable to the purchase.
Customers worldwide are asked to report visible damage, printing defects, incomplete orders, incorrect items or products that are materially different from the confirmed order within 27 calendar days of delivery, where reasonably possible.
To help us investigate, we may request:
-
The order number;
-
A description of the problem;
-
Clear photographs of the complete product;
-
Close-up photographs of the fault;
-
Photographs of the packaging; and
-
A photograph of the shipping label.
This 27-day reporting request supports our prompt quality-resolution process. It is not a contractual deadline and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate remedy may include a replacement, repair, price reduction or refund.
Full procedures are contained in our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy.
12. Delivery
Delivery locations, estimated production times, delivery estimates, tracking, customs information and applicable delivery charges are described at checkout and in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates unless we expressly agree otherwise.
An order containing multiple products may arrive in separate shipments.
Where we arrange delivery, the goods remain at our risk until they are delivered to you or to a person you nominated to receive them. This does not apply where you independently appoint a carrier that we did not offer.
You are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address and for collecting a parcel where the carrier directs it to an authorised collection point.
Additional production or delivery charges may apply where delivery fails because:
-
The customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address;
-
The parcel was not collected;
-
The recipient refused delivery without a lawful basis; or
-
Redelivery is required because of circumstances within the customer’s control.
This does not affect your rights where failed delivery was caused by us or the delivery carrier.
13. Lost or undelivered orders
If an order has not arrived by the estimated delivery date, check its tracking information and contact us.
Customers are asked to report a potentially lost shipment within 27 calendar days after the estimated delivery date. This gives us sufficient time to investigate and submit a delivery claim.
The 27-day request does not limit any mandatory right relating to non-delivery.
Depending on the investigation and applicable law, we may arrange a replacement or refund.
14. International orders
We sell to customers in multiple countries, subject to delivery availability.
International orders may be subject to import VAT, sales tax, customs duty, handling charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.
Where these charges are not collected at checkout or expressly included in the order price, the recipient may be responsible for paying them. We do not control charges imposed by overseas authorities.
You are responsible for checking whether a product can lawfully be imported into the destination country.
Mandatory consumer protections in the country or region where you live may apply to your purchase. These rights are not excluded by these terms.
15. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content—including No Small Print designs, illustrations, text, graphics, branding, logos, photographs and page layouts—are owned by or licensed to No Small Print.
Purchasing a product does not transfer any intellectual-property rights in the design printed on it.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, license, modify or commercially exploit our content or designs without prior written permission.
This section does not claim ownership of customer-supplied content or restrict any use permitted by law.
16. Third-party services
We use third-party service providers to operate the website, process payments, produce orders, arrange delivery and provide other business services.
Your use of certain payment methods or external services may also be subject to the provider’s own terms.
We remain responsible to you for our obligations as the retailer. The involvement of a third-party service provider does not remove any consumer right or remedy that applies against No Small Print.
External links provided on our website are offered for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or availability of websites we do not operate.
17. Website availability and errors
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update website content, products and availability. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights attached to an order already accepted.
18. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
-
Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
-
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
-
Breach of mandatory consumer rights; or
-
Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for a loss that was not foreseeable when the contract was formed or that results from information, instructions or content incorrectly supplied by you.
We do not exclude responsibility for goods lost or damaged before delivery where the risk legally remains with us.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
19. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
This may include using order details, correspondence, photographs of faulty products, packaging images and shipping-label information to investigate complaints and provide replacements, refunds or other remedies.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights available to you.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our products, services, operations or legal obligations.
The version applying to an order will normally be the version published when that order was placed. A later update will not retrospectively reduce contractual or statutory rights attached to an existing order.
The latest version will be published on this page with its revision date.
21. Governing law and disputes
These terms and contracts made through our website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law applicable to you.
Consumers living in England or Wales may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another country may also be entitled to bring proceedings in their local courts where applicable law permits.
If you have a concern, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it fairly and promptly.
22. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
23. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
